The Macbeth History in Focus

The Begining
Macbeth Footwear was founded in 2002 by Tom DeLonge (Blink 182/Box Car Racer and Angels & Airwaves). Inspired by the industry he’s in; Delonge envisioned a brand that would represent him and his music. Tom assembled a team of talented artists to design products focused on Southern California-fashion, culture, and music. It's a mission statement from the heart.
Initially starting as a footwear brand, Delonge with his team expanded the brand from shoes to an extensive range of apparel. This expansion would later lead to collaborations with musicians, athletes and influencers.
"Macbeth" comes from the Shakespeare literary masterpiece/play. Delonge took cues from the play's dark and brooding nature which is art in its purest form- honest and uncompromising.
The Studio Projects
The Macbeth Studio Project series the brand's custom footwear program created in collaboration with official Macbeth artists. Macbeth works closely with each artist to design products that reflect their individual look, persona, and the message they want to bring.
The goal of the Studio Project is to give the Macbeth roster a new medium of expression. Macbeth focus' on using various materials and designs are all integral in giving the look and feel that each artist desires.

The Logo
The Macbeth Pennant is an M banner / flag with a V-shaped formation on the end.
The Vegan Pennant is a revised logo with the "V" shape at the top symbolizes it's stand against using animal products. This has been a Macbeth advocacy since its inception.
The Royal Lion, The M, and The Macbeth Gryphon all were instrumental to the first incarnations of the Macbeth Brand. Medieval and very primal to the eyes, they were all instrumental on what the brand is now.
